Location, location location!

Location, location location!

We’ve moved into our new premises! This time last year it was Broadfield Court’s last empty plot.  And we knew then it would be the perfect spot for My Fathers Heart and its customers: visible, spacious, convenient and offering plenty of customer parking too.

Whilst we’ve always been open for business as usual, the last few months have also seen the Broadfield Court land transformed as we enter our exciting new chapter. Behind the scenes hundreds of hours of careful planning and exciting design had been going on and in March it began to come to life.

Our team has worked hard moving us in; from precious hand tools and workbenches to specialist machinery and office equipment, it’s a big job well done.

The new two-storey Broadfield Court premises are a dream. Designed as a modern, creative and inspirational space, its huge expanses of glass allow natural light to illuminate and show off the beauty of the wonderful timbers and veneers we select and work with.  It’s a real treat and a workspace to be envied. And that’s just the workshop where we build our handmade furniture and kitchens.

Our customer showroom is also well on the way to completion. The designers’ office, with floor to ceiling windows, handmade encaustic feature floor tiles by CaPietra (available to purchase here) and state of the art LED lighting is the first hint at how spectacular our showroom’s going to be.

The first stunning SieMatic kitchen displays have just arrived - a first for Sheffield - and are ready to be installed, and two of our designers have just returned from the Siematic Academy  in Germany where they've spent time studying and absorbing the latest on this fantastic range.

It’s thrilling to be part of this exciting time at My Fathers Heart. Follow the whole story on our website, watch out for our showroom opening date and don’t forget we’re open for business as usual so give us a call.
