How to clean the BORA Tepan stainless steel grill

In our beautiful kitchen showroom, we are surrounded by state-of-the-art appliances that cry out to be used. It's no secret our team are 'foodies', and we love to put to our appliances to use with live demonstrations for our showroom visitors creating tasty food to sample.

One of the fantastic appliances we have in our showroom is the BORA Professional set up with a Tepan stainless steel grill to one side, an induction hob on the other and the built-in extractor in the middle.

The BORA Tepan stainless steel grill is so versatile that we enjoy cooking different quick and delicious recipes every week. However, sometimes the greatest culinary challenge is not what you prepare for your customers/guests, but what is left behind. Luckily that's not the case with the BORA, after using it's quick and easy for us to make it sparkle again.

Last Saturday, we cooked up a delicious breakfast on our BORA and, in this short video, our showroom manager Su shows you just how easy it was to clean.

How to clean the BORA Tepan stainless steel grill

Cleaning the BORA Tepan stainless steel grill is easy: after use simply:

1. Activate the cleaning function on the Tepan - this brings the plate to an optimum temperature for cleaning.
2. Apply malt white distilled vinegar liberally onto the plate and leave for a few seconds.
3. Scrape the Tepan always using a front to back motion to remove some of the residue (not side-to-side or circular).
4. Wipe the residue with kitchen roll.
5. Scrape using the front to back motion again, this time with water.
6. Run a soapy green scourer over the Tepan using the same front to back motion.
7. Finally, wipe again with some kitchen roll.

And voila! The BORA looks beautiful once again.

The rounded inner corners make it easy to remove even the smallest of flecks. Combined with BORA’s powerful, patented cooktop extractor systems, the delights of barbecuing can be enjoyed without any regrets as the vapours and odours are directly draw away at the cooktop, keeping fat and odour particles well away from your home.
