‘Quiet luxury’ SieMatic SLX kitchen with bespoke media wall

An open plan kitchen, dining and living area truly is the heart of the home and should feel as such; but our clients described their existing space as feeling cold and disconnected. We were asked to design a more welcoming and cohesive space that not only oozed a quiet sense of luxury, but introduced a warmth and sophistication that was more reflective of their personal taste.

Blocking up an existing window in the kitchen (that offered little natural light) allowed more wall space for cabinetry whilst full height antique mirror panels help bounce light back into the room. Additionally, we removed the existing unused gas fireplace and chimney breast in the living area. This enabled us to incorporate a handmade full-width media wall to house the television, providing plenty of additional storage alongside display shelving.

Design features

Karndean flooring laid in a herringbone style exudes warmth and perfectly complements the room’s tonal palette.

Extending seamlessly from the island the drop-down table is fully clad in Dekton ‘Rem’ featuring elegant brown and grey veining with hints of gold.

A continuation of the kitchen’s elegance; the bespoke handmade media wall adds depth and texture to the lounge space.

Opulent antique silver mirror panels to the back of the open shelving are subtly highlighted with LED lighting.
