Oak kitchen with twin islands to create a truly practical ‘cook’s kitchen’
Making a space fulfil the brief is not always an easy challenge. Here we decided to break with convention and place the working zone right in the middle of the room ensuring that the flow between ovens, sink and fridge freezers was as fluid as could be.
Though not a huge space, we fulfilled the client’s brief of having a kitchen with dining table and snug with an open fire.
The curved drawer and cupboard fronts were hand shaped from solid oak.
