Steak (cooked on the BORA Tepan) with salad and mojo verde
This delicious steak salad recipe will leave you totally satisfied.
It’s super easy and quick to cook steaks on the Tepan, literally minutes and really beautifully and evenly cooked. No fuss.
2 good quality steaks (we used aged sirloin)
1 garlic clove
1tsp ground cumin
20g coriander leaves
20g mint leaves
20g flat-leaf parsley
1tbsp apple cider vinegar
3tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Sea salt and ground black pepper
Put all the mojo verde ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.
Heat the BORA Tepan plate on medium setting 5 or 190 degrees. Lightly oil the tepan. Cook the steaks 2-3 minutes on each side for medium rare. Remove from the plate and rest them in a warming drawer or on the side for 5 minutes. Cut into thin slices across the grain and divide between the plates of salad, then drizzle with the mojo verde. Serve immediately.
