Smoked haddock steamed risotto using the Siemens steam oven
This delicious smoked haddock risotto is an easy, nutritious midweek meal.
It's super easy to make and there's no tedious stirring - simply pop it in the oven until creamy and delicious.
For this recipe, we used the Siemens Steam Oven.
200g risotto rice
4 spring onions
200ml vegetable stock
300g naturally smoked haddock fillet
2 tbsp crème fresh
salt & pepper
Pre-heat the Siemens steam oven to 100 degrees on full steam.
Place the risotto rice, spring onion, a few snips of chives, stock and milk into the small solid steam oven tray, stir to combine. Steam for 10 minutes, then add the haddock fillet and steam for another 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven, cover and stand for 5 minutes.
Uncover, remove the fish and break into bite-sized pieces. Stir the crème fresh into the rice and add the haddock pieces to the risotto, add a few snips of chives to garnish and serve. Salt and pepper to taste.
