So, when nationally renowned, Michelin-starred chef Shaun Rankin joined us this month as the VIP at our latest event, he was delighted to help us launch and showcase the quality of our new range of V-Zug appliances.
That was the backdrop for our guests, during an exclusive Swiss-themed evening of fine cuisine.
Shaun Rankin’s endorsement of the Swiss-made, state-of-the-art appliances is evident at his Michelin-starred restaurant at Grantley Hall, North Yorkshire. There, his kitchen is fully equipped with the V-ZUG range.
Loved in Switzerland since 1913, the V-Zug brand focuses on precision, design and durability. It’s just as you’d expect of Swiss products and of course aligns perfectly with our own quality standards. You can read more about our V-Zug range here.
Shaun demonstrated the remarkable capabilities of V-ZUG. Using the V-ZUG induction hob, the Combair V6000, and the CombiSteamer V6000 ovens he crafted a symphony of flavours. Our guests enjoyed his perfectly seared scallops, a heavenly truffle risotto, and delectable sponge puddings.
Such delights call for a bit of wine pairing so, courtesy of our friends from Sheffield’s Starmore Boss, we sampled from one of Europe’s best kept secrets - Swiss wines.
And what would such a night be without any Swiss cheese? Porter Brook Deli kept us stocked up with Rotwein Sennechas, Starnachas and Vacherin Mont D'Or.
Sheffield companies, ProWare and Samuel Staniforth, also attended the event. ProWare exhibiting their high-quality cookware and Samuel Staniforth displaying their outstanding, forged steel knifes.
Thank you to our guests, to Shaun and to local businesses Starmore Boss and Porter Brook Deli for helping us making it a night to remember.
Call in to our showroom to see the new V-Zug range of appliances and to browse the rest of our stunning displays.
