Meet Chrissi Batey our SieMatic Kitchen Designer

Our team of experienced designers is always on hand to offer advice and guidance when designing your beautiful home interiors. Chrissi Batey is our SieMatic Kitchen Designer and produces bold, exclusive and luxurious designs from the fabulous SieMatic pallet.

With her warm, friendly personality, she is very easy to get on with and our customers love her enthusiasm and attention to detail.

Chrissi studied art and design at Arts University Bournemouth then moved north to build on this, graduating in interior design at Sheffield Hallam University. After her first appointment with a kitchen retailer, her keen eye for design led her to My Fathers Heart in 2015.

Let’s meet Chrissi…

Hi Chrissi, can you describe what you do?

I am the SieMatic Kitchen Designer here at My Fathers Heart and I am responsible for producing unique and creative designs that meet and exceed the client’s brief. With my knowledge of interior design, I am able to look at the space as a whole and love to offer my expertise in all areas of the room design rather than just offering a kitchen in a box.

What do you get up to when you aren’t at work?

I enjoy going on runs around leafy Nether Edge and Endcliffe or eating and drinking at the quirky independent cafes and bars around Sheffield with my boyfriend.

I am also lucky to have friends all over England, Europe and the World so I love to visit them.

What’s the best thing about your job?

I get so much enjoyment from making my client’s dream kitchen a reality. I always enjoy projects I can be involved with from the very start. Sometimes when a client sees my renders it is the first time they can imagine themselves living in their new space and their response is always quite emotional.

It is especially exciting to visit finished jobs once everything is complete and I can see the clients physically standing in the space I’ve been working on (in my mind and on my laptop) for so long.

What you would you say makes My Fathers Heart stand out from its competitors?

For me it’s the quality of the products and our service. We are a friendly team who love to build lasting relationships with our clients and we aim to make every visit to our beautiful showroom an enjoyable one.
