Hear from Andrea about her experience choosing My Fathers Heart

Sheffield-kitchen-review

Andrea first came to our showroom full of excitement having successfully managed to buy the other half of a lovely Edwardian house that had previously been divided into two.

We recommended some great local architects who could help with her project and Andrea set about remodelling the whole house. The kitchen would be the heart of the home and she wanted to do this fabulous building justice with fantastic furnishings and fittings of suitably high quality.

The brief

Andrea wanted a kitchen bathed in light with natural materials and an organic feel.  The brief for the kitchen was clear, bright, light and practical so we designed and installed handmade cabinets hand painted white and fitted Dekton worktops.

Fixtures and fittings

It was important to Andrea that the space didn't just look great it functioned perfectly too. For this reason, she chose Dekton marble effect worksurfaces. Dekton is the ‘next generation’ worktop, robust and guaranteed not to stain or scratch…and you can put a hot pan directly onto it. Clever stuff!

The ovens are from Gaggenau and are a real treat. Easy to use and incredibly well engineered with very accurate thermostatic controls and enamelled cavities.

In the island is the BORA Professional 2.0 with automatic downdraft ventilation…a truly luxurious piece of kit for the serious home chef!

"My finished kitchen is everything I wanted and more. It is beautiful to look at and functions exactly as we hoped it would. The whole team at My Fathers Heart are amazing and made the process very easy. Every single detail has been considered and we are thrilled to bits with the kitchen."
