Swap your classic roasties for these delicious hasselback potatoes.
Crisp on the outside and soft in the centre, hasselback potatoes look impressive but are surprisingly easy to make.
For this recipe, we used the Siemens combi oven.
1kg waxy potatoes
6-8 tbsp olive oil
Rosemary or thyme (fresh or dried)
Bag salad leaves
½ pack feta cheese (crumbled)
Flatten out the bottom of the potatoes with a knife to help them stand, then slice the potatoes thinly making sure they are not sliced right through.
Soak them in cold water for about 20 minutes.
Add the oil to the universal pan with some chopped rosemary or thyme.
Drain the potatoes and pat dry then add to the pan making sure they are all coated in oil and season with salt.
Put the potatoes in the Siemens microwave combination oven on shelf level 2 – Setting microwave combination and circulated air grilling 190 degrees C at 360 watts. Cook for 20-25 minutes then season with pepper and serve with salad and crumbled feta cheese.
