And after the year we’ve all had, it’s essential that we get the fun and frivolities underway imminently.
We’ve decided after the events of 2020 it’s time to relax, undo that top button and get stuck into some scrumptious seasonal delights (we certainly all deserve it).
The days are short, and the fairy lights are twinkling so this weekend at My Fathers Heart, we kicked off the Christmas celebrations by testing out the fantastic Wolf oven with a seasonal chocolate yule log. And to assist in bringing this essential Christmas dessert to life Chrissi and I opened the mulled wine because, quite frankly, it’d be rude not to.
On this fabulously busy pre-Christmas Saturday in the showroom we invited our lucky visitors to join us for a warming winter tipple, alongside some smoked salmon pate followed by our, albeit slightly rustic in appearance, very delectable chocolate log!- Well, ‘tis the season after all.
This gluten-free version of the Christmas classic didn’t disappoint. Here’s the recipe for those wanting to give it a go.

Even though we’re not able to have our celebratory parties just yet, we are still open, and for anyone who would like to visit our showroom, we’ll have some festive feasts on the go throughout December. Our full team will be here to help whilst making sure you feel safe and comfortable.
Watch this space in the coming weeks to find out when we will be unveiling our showrooms newest kitchen setting. In the meantime, we gladly welcome visitors in for a sneaky peek and a mince pie.
