GSCE cookery students from Sheffield High School for Girls stepped outside the classroom on Tuesday the 12th of March for real-life experience in a cookery masterclass.

The 13 pupils, rolled up their sleeves and learned how to joint a chicken, made tomato roses and swan apples, cooked fishcakes, and even took part in a teacake competition.

There was also a workshop delivered by Leslie Buddington, Head Chef at Brocco on the Park that covered working in a professional kitchen.

It was a pleasure to host the girls and to watch them express their creativity with their fabulous dishes. Take a look at some of the photos from the event below.
