30 Years of My Fathers Heart: Turning the Page to Our Next Chapter

my fathers heart moving

On November 6th, My Fathers Heart will be celebrating our 30th birthday. As we reflect on our humble beginnings from a council-run enterprise workshop in Sheffield’s old Coroner’s Court, to a quiet backwater workshop on Tom Lane, and our current architecturally designed and award-winning showroom in Broadfield Court, we can be proud that over the years we have built a fabulous company, known for our unparalleled reputation for quality and service - the thirty years have flown!

This year of celebration will also be a year of exciting change and expansion as we prepare to leave our current home at Broadfield Court to spread our net further afield. Our showroom at Broadfield Court has been sold, having served us well for the past 10 years, with new owners taking over on 1st November.

In anticipation of this (you may have noticed the sign), we are offering the rare opportunity to purchase one of our expertly designed and meticulously maintained showroom displays for heavily discounted prices, up to 50% off the RRP. Please call in for more information.

On 1st May this year, we opened our Bents Green showroom and have enjoyed a very successful summer out there in the leafy suburbs, getting to know our friendly new neighbourhood, whom we very much look forward to seeing more of. From 1st October, our Bents Green showroom will be taking over our Broadfield opening times and you will be able to pop in to see us Monday-Saturday.

Keep an eye on our events page to be the first to know about the upcoming Bents Green showroom events we have planned alongside local businesses, such as: ‘Colours and Cocktails’, a colour masterclass hosted by our own Mary with supporting themed food and cocktails from The Psalter; ‘Alpine Cheese & Wine Evening’ in collaboration with Cheese & Friends; and a festive ‘Wreath Making’ evening with florist Lucy Andrews.

The next phase of our plans is the relocation of our workshop to its new home (the location of which is soon to be confirmed). Please be assured there will be no disruption to our programme as we have planned for a smooth transition.

Looking ahead, 2026 is set to be another exciting year for us as plans for another showroom are underway. Watch this space for updates on our next exciting chapter…
